Macau Tower

Macau Tower, also known as Macau Sky Tower, is a tower located in the former Portuguese colony of Macau, now a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

For views of the Pearl River Delta by day or the city lights by night, nothing surpasses the Macau Tower. Having ascended to the Tower's upper limits in high-speed glass-fronted lifts, an unforgettable vista awaits you.

The tower measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point. It has an observation deck with panoramic views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X, a thrilling walking tour around the outer rim.

It offers the best view of Macau – from the highest viewing deck it is possible to see 55km away. Not only can you view the bridge to Mainland China, you can also watch helicopters fly below the observation deck. In recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233 meters, the Macau Tower's tethered "Sky Jump" and Bungy Jump from the tower's outer rim is the highest in the world.

The tower is one of the members of the World Federation of Great Towers. It is the 10th tallest free-standing tower in the world, the 8th in Asia. Besides being used for observation and entertainment, the tower is also used for telecommunications and broadcasting.
